Cut & programmed at your door
Spare Car Keys
From £95 at your door · £0 call-out
A spare key while you still have a working one is the cheapest key you will ever buy. We come to you, cut and program it in around half an hour, and you never have to think about all-keys-lost prices.
From £95, at your door
Transponder keys from £95, remote and flip keys from £120, smart keys from £249 — cut and coded on your driveway, typically half of what the main dealer quotes.
Insurance against disaster
Losing your only key turns a £95 job into a £160–£299 all-keys-lost job with a stranded car attached. A spare in the kitchen drawer is the cheapest motoring insurance there is.
All makes, cut on site
Ford to Fiat, BMW to Kia — blades cut to code or from your working key, chips cloned or programmed through the diagnostic port. No trip to a dealership, no week-long wait.
Tested before we leave
Every key is tested in the doors and the ignition, remote buttons and all, before it's handed over — and covered by a 12-month warranty.
Good to know
Common questions.
How much does a spare car key cost?+
It depends on the key type: a basic transponder key from £95, a remote or flip key from £120, and a smart/proximity key from £249 — all cut, programmed and tested at your door. That's typically 40–50% less than a main dealer, and there's no call-out fee. The exact price is confirmed before any work starts.
How long does it take to get a spare key?+
Most spare keys are cut and programmed in 20–40 minutes at your home or workplace. Common blades and remotes are stocked in the van; a rare key may need ordering, usually next-day.
Do I need to bring my car anywhere?+
No — the van is a mobile workshop with cutting machines and programming equipment on board. You just need the car and your existing key at the same address.
Can you copy a key with a chip in it?+
Yes. Most transponder chips can be cloned directly from your working key, and where a vehicle needs it, new keys are programmed through the car's diagnostic port. Either way the new key starts the car just like the original.
Is a cheap internet key blank worth buying?+
Usually not. Online blanks are often the wrong frequency or a poor casting that wears your locks, and most still need cutting and programming anyway. Our price includes a quality key, the cutting, the programming and a 12-month warranty.
