The locksmith answers the phone.
Ring a lot of "local" locksmith numbers around here and you'll reach a call centre in London that sells your job to whoever bids. Ring us and you get Sam — the person with the cutting machine, the programmer, and the van keys in hand.
One van, properly equipped
A workshop on wheels.
The van carries what most people imagine lives in a dealership back room: electronic key-cutting machines, transponder cloning and diagnostic programming gear, entry tools, and stock for the common keys of every major brand. That's why the job happens on your driveway instead of at the end of a recovery tow.
- ✓ DBS-checked — happy to show the certificate at the door
- ✓ £2m public liability insurance
- ✓ 12-month warranty on every key supplied
- ✓ Published prices — a Yorkshire first, as far as we can tell
How we work
Three promises, kept on every job.
The price is the price
Quoted before the van moves, confirmed before work starts, unchanged when it's done. If we find something unexpected, we stop and talk first.
No damage, or no charge
Entry is non-destructive and keys are tested in every lock. If a car can't be opened cleanly, you don't pay for the attempt.
Straight answers
If a £45 repair beats a £250 replacement, that's what you'll be told. If the dealer genuinely is your best option (it happens), you'll be told that too.
