The Yorkshire Key Co. ("we", "us") is a mobile auto locksmith service based in Bradford, West Yorkshire. This page explains what personal data we collect through this website and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Quote requests: your name, phone number, email address (if given), postcode, vehicle details (registration, make, model, year), your description of the job, and any photo you attach. We use these solely to prepare your quote and carry out the work.
• Vehicle lookups: if you provide a registration number, we may look it up against the DVLA's Vehicle Enquiry Service to confirm the make and year — this helps us price your key accurately.
• Site analytics: we record anonymous page views and clicks (page visited, device type, approximate source) using our own first-party system. We do not sell or share this data, and it is not used to identify you.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your details to anyone, ever. We are not a lead-generation site.
• We don't send marketing emails or texts — you hear from us about your job and nothing else.
• We don't store card details; payments are processed at the point of payment.

How long we keep it

Quote requests and job records are kept for up to six years for accounting and warranty purposes (every key carries a 12-month warranty), then deleted. Photos you send are deleted once the job is complete or the quote lapses.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email [email protected] and we'll sort it promptly.

Cookies

The site uses only the cookies needed to function (session and security cookies). Our first-party analytics does not use cross-site tracking cookies.
